Sea turtles have begun their yearly nesting on the North Carolina beaches. This past weekend 2 nests were found on Kure beach. On June 12th over at Bald Head Island a few Loggerhead turtles were spotted laying nests and to everyones surprise a large Leatherback turtle laid a nest. Be on the look out for the orange roped off areas along our Beaches while you are staying in any of the Carolina Beach Hotels. When we hear of more nests we will be sure to post it here so keep an eye out.
